[layerslider id=”11″]

YGEO is a non-profit youth organization committed to encourage students and young educators from 16 to 30 years old to take an active role in addressing critical issues concerning education.

The group generally aims to

  1. provide opportunities for young educators to collaborate and learn from one another through meetings, forum and informal hangouts both online and in real life
  2. create a support network for new teachers
  3. develop strong social awareness among members
  4. provide advanced teacher training
  5. provide members access to innovations in the field of education and offer supplemental materials for curriculum and instruction

YGEO supports GEO’s main feature to encourage young researchers to be involved and get their works published. The organization welcomes contributions in the form of blog posts, articles, lesson plans, teaching strategies in specific lessons, and research work.

All GEO members are eligible to join YGEO for free.
